Theme and templating suggestion

The theming and templating for KBPublisher is too restrictive and too much is hard-coded in to the system. We have full corporate license and would like to have a much easier way to completely integrate the KB into our website style and structure. I've designed for many other CMS systems (wordpress, joomla, drupal, e107, etc.) and find their theme/template support preferable to KBPublisher's. Are there any plans to change the way KBPublisher handles themes/templates in the future? Also, the ability to theme/skin the admin area would be a wonderful feature.

  2. Until now we have concentrated more on improving the functionality rather than design features but we may look at design in the future.

If you (or anyone else) have any specifics on what you would like us to do or how you would like us to handle it if/when we do, this would be a good post to list them.

  3. I was able to use the approach given to totally integrate into the website. It took a little time to study and learn how to use the templates, but basically I was able to use index.php and page.php to have it adopt the CSS of my site.

I note that many tools see to have a backend/admin side that is not skinned.

I started frustrated like Eochai, but got past it and now believe the system is quite flexible.

    Cheers
